Rikke's adventure: A cozy night at a treehouse

. It was a cozy and stylishly designed space, surrounded by aspen trees and equipped with all the essentials. The cabin featured large windows providing panoramic views of the surrounding nature. Our stay was peaceful, highlighted by the comfort of a modern bathroom and a living room with a fireplace. The veranda was perfect for morning coffee, enjoying the calm of the forest just a short walk from the parking area.


My adventure to a cozy, secluded treehouse.

We drove to the Ospero treehouse in Eidsvoll and then walked through a beautiful grass field full of flowers. It took about 10 minutes to walk to the house. The area was very calm and peaceful, which made us feel relaxed right away.

The treehouse was cozy and had big windows that let us see all the trees and nature outside. Inside, it felt warm and welcoming. Our evening was simple, with candles, cooking pasta, and wine. It was a perfect night to reconnect and enjoy the silence.

The next morning, we woke up refreshed and enjoyed the day without phones or computers. It felt like we had all the time in the world to relax and be together. By the end of our stay, I had one of the best sleeps in a long time. Our short stay reminded us to appreciate simple pleasures and nature’s beauty.

My tips for the making the most of your adventure to Knausen treehouse

The walk to the treehouse is about 10 minutes through a field, so it's easier if you don't have too much to carry, big plus to have a backpack not suitcase. 

Since you'll be a bit isolated, bring enough food and drinks for your stay, especially if you plan to cook or want special items like wine.

: There’s limited technology use in the treehouse, which enhances the peaceful experience. Plan to disconnect from your gadgets and enjoy the surroundings.

Tretopphytta Knausen hviler på en fjellknaus i bakkant. En bratt trapp fører deg opp til hytta som er på. 19 m2 og hems. Med sine 6 meter høye stålsøyler i front ruver hytta mellom trærne.

Knausen er 19 m² og har en hems. Nyt utsikten i alle retninger. Enten mens du lager mat, i det store vinduet i karnappet, på hemsen eller på verandaen.
Denne hytta har plass til 4 personer og inkluderer:
- Gang med oppbevaringsplass.
- Bad med varmekabler, dusj og wc.
- Stue med kjøkken med alt nødvendig utstyr for matlaging. Koselig peis i stua.
- Benken i oppholdsrummet kan trekkes ut til dobbeltseng.
- Hems med dobbeltseng på 180 cm x 200 cm.
- Koselig liten veranda med sitteplasser til fire. Her kan du nyte utsikten og morgenkaffen.

I denne hytta er det soveplasser til 4 personer. På hemsen er det en dobbeltseng på 180 x 200 cm. Benken i oppholdsrommet kan dras ut slik at den blir 150 x 200 cm. Dyner, puter, sengetøy og håndklær finner du i hytta.

Fra parkeringen er det ca. 300 meter å gå til hytta. Om vinteren anbefaler vi ski eller truger, men det går også an å gå på beina. Vi anbefaler at du pakker i sekk og pakker lett. Ta med hodelykt dersom du ankommer etter at det har blitt mørkt.

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold på hytta og kan varmt anbefale dette stedet! Hytta er både koselig og komfortabel, og som en ekstra bonus ble vi servert hjemmebakte kanelboller dagen etter da vi hilste på de flotte islandshestene til Marit og familien, noe som gjorde opplevelsen enda mer spesiell.

Me and my boyfriend visited this place for a night. It was amazing and the host was very nice and welcoming! The walk up to the cabin was so idyllic with flowers and grass. The treehouse has a very nice kitchen, balcony and bathroom! The bed was also very good.A place to be calm, eat good food and enjoy each others company. Highly recommend!
