The small treetop shelter is located on the edge of a small plantation with a mile-wide view of fields and forests. You can lie in the shelter and enjoy the view or sit with your feet hanging over the edge of the small balcony.

Holmely offers some extremely beautiful sunsets, which are enjoyed to the full by guests, owner and visitors. The view stretches far across fields and valleys, here it is possible for the eye and the mind to stretch and get some air. 

The shelter is spacious with two folding mattresses, small tables and cozy lighting.

Bring your own sheets, duvet/sleeping bag and pillow. In winter, remember a good surface to lie under the mattresses.

Down in front of the shelter there is a small fire pit exclusively for the use of guests in the shelter. 
Short distance to Bryrup Langså and Karlsø, here you can swim, fish, sub, kayak, mountain bike etc. the area is very beautiful with several hiking trails in a protected area. There is 1.5 km. to "Horsens - Silkeborg rail path". Brædstrup is 5 km away. from here and is a cozy little town with shops and eateries. Bryrup is 6 km away. from here - here is the old Veteranbane that runs to Vrads st. 8 km. to the Genfundne Bro and the Gudenå.
20 minutes to Silkeborg and Horsens. 45 min. to Aarhus C.

Facilities
In the field, small footpaths have been laid for glamping, the mud toilet, the gear rack and to the large fire pit. The rest of the field has been allowed to stand with grass and wild plants, to the great benefit of insects, partridges, birds and mice. Buzzards, buzzards, sparrow hawks, peregrine falcons, owls and, rarely, an osprey are often seen here. 

In the gear hut there are pots and pans for cooking on the fire, water tap, outdoor games, kindling blocks, firewood, safari chairs, freezer with freezer elements that can be exchanged (summer only).

There are also three tents on the field. Two glamping tents for 2 people and 1 glamping tent that can easily sleep 4 people plus the treetop shelter for 2 people - this makes Holmely ideal for a family or friend trip, or for a larger group to go on an experience together.
Parking is free and is just below the shelter.

Practical information:
Here are the few house rules for Trætop shelter and the campfire:
- Avoid food waste in the shelter
- Only take the pots and pans you need, and wash them after use for the next guests.
- All stays at Holmely are at your own risk.
- Pets not allowed
- Enjoy the silence and the view.

NOTE: the shelter is located in the countryside. Here it is windy, here harvesting and driving with large machines, here there are insects, here it can be cold and here it can be hot. Prepare for an outdoor experience.

NOTE: There are 2 small folding mattresses in the shelter - mainly for those who come on foot or by bike - if you want to sleep softer, bring your own underlay.
