Enjoy the long summer evenings and the fine view. From the tents you have a view of the area with fields and forests. In the field, small footpaths have been laid to the house and to the large fire pit. The rest of the field has been allowed to stand with grass and wild plants, to the great benefit of insects, partridges, birds and mice. Buzzards, buzzards, sparrow hawks and, occasionally, an osprey are often seen here.

The tents are equipped with a sleeping area with fresh bedding, the beds are made on arrival and there are towels for you. In addition, tables and chairs can be brought outside in good weather.

In the tents there is a good old fashioned hot water bottle which can be filled with boiling water and placed down to the feet on cold summer nights. (Possibly tuck it into the bed linen so that you are not lying directly against the skin)

Mult toilet in the field and outdoor shower at the tackle hut with cold and hot water. Please use only our natural soap.

The tent site offers some extremely beautiful sunsets, which have been commented on a lot by the guests. At the campfire site there are small makeshift tables, stumps to sit on and branches that can be cut into twisted sticks. In Grejragen there are pots and pans for cooking over a fire, a water tap, kettle and coffee, outdoor games, a freezer with homemade ready meals for a fire and ice cream.

Practical information
Here are the few house rules for the Glamping tents and the campfire:
- Avoid food waste in the tents.
- No outdoor shoes in the tents.
- Dogs not allowed.
- Close the tents securely when checking out.
- Take only the pots and pans you need, and wash them after use for the next guests.
- Use our waste sorting responsibly.
- All stays at Holmely are at your own risk.

There are 3 tents on the field, two glamping tents for 2 people and an emperor tent with room for 3 people, this makes the tent area ideal for a family or friend trip, or for a larger group to go on an experience together.

We arrange guided tours, e.g. Gin walk and guided electric bike tours that start from nature, but which also have a fresh breath of Danish history and cultural heritage and some with tours and tastings of local beer and gin. Write if you want more info about these trips.

Experiences nearby
Short distance to Bryrup Langsø and Karlsø, here you can swim, fish, sub, kayak, mountain bike etc. The area is very beautiful with several hiking trails in a protected area. There is 1.5 km to the "Horsens - Silkeborg railway track". Brædstrup is 5 km away and is a cozy little town with several specialty shops and eateries. Bryrup with the old Veteran railway is 6 km away. It is 10 km to the Genfundne Bro and the Gudenå.
