Naust means boat house in Norwegian. They are for storing boats and fishing gear. They are always located with the sea or lakes in Norway. Therefore we do our very best to let you enjoy the wonderful, ambient landscape of Senja at the doorstep of you own Nauste in authentic atmosphere.

At our camp you can enjoy the coast landscape and fjords right at the doorstep of Ånderdalen National Park and the fjord Tranoybotn. The area offers fantastic hiking trips both in summer and winter, guided tours as kayak, snowshoeing and hikes.

Sjarmerende spesiell campingplass med historier som gjør inntrykk.  Du kommer som gjest, men blir møtt som en "innbygger". Vi er alle som en stor familie, og dette kan være din "base camp" i Nord-Norge.  Hyttene er enkle med egen balkong, utestoler, vannkoker, kjøleskap, bestikk og kopper/kar.  I tillegg er det åpent for alle til felles servicebygg der WiFi, PC plass, spiseplass, kjøkken med alt nødvendig utstyr  - og vask/tørk - bad/dusj/toaletter.  Alt du trenger er på stedet.

Bruk Sandnes Fjord Camping som din "base camp" for å finne opptil 155 naturbaserte opplevelser innen en times reise fra campen. Rett ved er Fosselvfossen, på 69 meter - og fjord, fjell og alt du søker på ett sted.  

Hjertelig velkommen til nostaldiske opplevelser - en camping bygd på 1960 tallet, og fortsatt holder fast på nostalgiske opplevelser - nå også med lavvo - og tilgang til sauna!

PS:  Ingen små hytter har innlagt vann/Toalett.

The lighthouse has 1 bedroom with 1 double bed. 360 degree magical view of Senja is included. The lighthouse is truly special and gives you the feeling of being a part of the natural elements.

WC and bath With towels, hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel, full kitchen, electricity, electrical heating, free WiFi (low bandwidth), pillow and duvet With bedlinens for every bed. There's also a star telescope to explore at second floor. Breakfast and checkout cleaning is included.

The lighthouse is our suite and the pride of our camp. Here you can enjoy the Northern Light or Midnight Sun with a 360 degree view from your own bed. There really is no better place to enjoy the island of Senja.

Vi tilbyr komplette turpakker (fortrinnsvis 3 dagers pakker) med overnatting, transport, mat, padling med tilhørende utstyr, fjellturer og guide som også er din vert under hele oppholdet. Vinterstid tilbyr vi foruten vinterpadling også ski- og trugeturer. Alle våre turer er private og vi tilpasser hver tur til våre gjesters erfaringsnivå, ønsker og værforhold. Vi ønsker også barnefamilier hjertelig velkommen. Plassen er en perle og et unikt sted for å komme bort fra hverdagen.

Campen har ikke innlagt strøm uten vi utnytter naturens ressurser som vindkraft og solenergi. Vann henter vi fra en nærliggende bekk eller bruker regnvann. Gjenbruk er i fokus hos oss, og miljøtiltak som plukking av marint søppel er en naturlig del av våre turer. Vi støtter opp om lokale tiltak og lokalt næringsliv.

Tradisjonelt er en yurt et bærbart, rundt telt dekket av skinn eller filt og brukes som bolig av nomader i steppene i Sentral-Asia. Våre yurter er en moderne variant og spesialdesignet. 

{b}Glamping og "back to nature"{/b}

Glamping betyr en kombinasjon av luksus og friluftsliv. Yurtene våre er vinterisolert og varmes opp med parafin og vedfyrte ovner, noe som gjør dem behagelig selv om vinteren. Glasskuppelen på toppen av taket gjør at lyset spres på en flott måte i yurten og siden det er en form for telt, vil du tydelig kunne høre lyden av naturen som bølger, strøm, vind og dyre- og fugleliv.
Beliggenheten til campen og selve boformen med et "rom" gir en unik nærhet til naturen, og en flott gemenskap med dem du reiser i lag med i en koselig atmosfære. Dette er plassen der du får en "back to nature"- opplevelse. Å bo i en yurt vil gi deg en helt ny opplevelse- virkelig nærmere naturen - og dine nærmeste!
