Nearly Wild Camping! 
Get back to nature and pitch your tent in our peaceful Devon meadow, with just a handful of grass pitches & our shepherds huts there's plenty of space to relax in.  Pitches are mown into our meadow, sometimes we let the surrounding grass grow long to encourage wildlife.  Each pitch has it's own fire pit, logs are available for a small charge or you are welcome to bring your own.  
As we are an off grid site we have compost toilets, there is a rustic shower cubicle with hot water, a recent guest said it was the best campsite shower she had used!  There is an outdoor washing up area with views into the neighbouring woodland for bird spotting whilst pot washing!  Recycling facilities are provided but please try to take your waste away with you if you can. 
There's lots of wildlife to spot during your stay so don't forget your binoculars!  Owls & birds of prey often swoop down over the meadow, you might hear woodpeckers & if you are lucky the deer may pay a visit.  Our meadow is great for stargazing too, or just sitting out looking for shooting stars.
