Our Cubata is a little house consisting of a bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, pantry and dry bathroom, and a crib. Ideal for a couple or a small family.

It was built with natural and recycled materials, wood, mortar and lime-based paint, recycled doors and windows, glass bottles, straw, sand... and a lot of resilience, curiosity and love!

Outside, in the shared areas, there is: a dry bathroom with hot shower, shared kitchen, our biological garden - where you can harvest whatever is available to prepare your meals -, a small swimming pool that delights the kids and adults, an area for the little ones and all the space to disconnect from everyday life, relax and meditate.

The beaches are located about 2 min. by car or 5 min. by bike. You can enjoy the beautiful rugged landscapes and trails of the Vimeiro Glacier Valley. At the mouth of the Alcabrichel river, which flows into Porto Novo, you can canoe and SUP. At the Santa Cruz Airfield you can take a first flight in an airplane and even paraglide over the cliffs of Praia de Santa Rita.

At Lugar do Sol we live in an ecological, sustainable and self-sufficient way, energy comes from the sun, water comes from our well, we have a biological garden and we produce cosmetics and natural detergents in an artisanal way.
