Here you will encounter a mix of history, culture and nature that gives a feeling of calm. You can enjoy the peace and quiet in an exclusive arctic dome, a unique place to stay next to a historic seater farm. 15 minutes from the E6, along county road 17, making it a perfect place to stop if you are driving the E6 or the Kystriksveien (F17) through Trøndelag. Here you rent the entire space, are completely alone, close to nature and the clean air. One of Namdalen's hidden gems.

It is about 1.5 km to walk from the car park in summer, with some uphill since the dome is located at the foot of Skarlandsfjellet. We offer a ride up to the dome with an ATV for those who want it. There is no self check-in. We hand over keys in person or arrange for other collection of keys. In winter, it is 2.5 km to go skiing or snowshoeing. In the period January to March, we offer winter glamping, where transportation and training in using the site are included in the price.

The dome is heated with a wood stove and gas stove, so it takes some time for the dome to warm up. It is therefore recommended to bring some extra clothes to wear on arrival, especially in winter. There is no running water here, but there is plenty of water in the stream. Included in the rent is a 5 liter can of clean drinking water. There is no electricity, so from August to May it is a good idea to bring a flashlight or headlamp. Light sources powered by solar cells are found inside the seat dome. Outside the dome, there is a nice seating area with access to a fire pit. Firewood and lighter briquettes have been placed inside the dome. Replenishment of firewood is obtained from the seat barn.

We have installed an incineration toilet in one of the buildings, and if the need is great, you have the option of taking a shower in the seat shower. This is a simple outdoor shower, but works well for its purpose.

In the sitting barn you have access to a small kitchenette with a gas fridge and two gas hobs. This can be used for cooking, and is used to heat water needed for the outdoor shower. Here you will also find the barn suite with two single beds, which can be booked if there are more than two of you going on a trip.

In the seat house, there is a bunk bed for two people if more sleeping places are desired. We have a travel cot for babies and a simple folding bed that can be placed next to the bed in the seat dome if more beds are desired there. This is agreed upon after the order has been placed.
