On Ærø stands an old circus wagon - top modernized.

Its construction is full of stories. About life lived with dedication and a willingness to practice, practice, practice. When you close your eyes, you can almost feel the tension in your stomach as the artist holds her breath before entering the ring, crawling high up under the colorful tent cloth and in moments of daring and contempt for death, to thrill thousands of wide-eyed children and adults, throw...

You can still feel it when you step into the circus wagon. Born of dreams, it is now transformed into an adventurous and luxurious retreat. A unique get-away for those who want to experience how the silence, art and history, hidden in the curved ceilings, together create an atmosphere that makes the body calm down and the mind fly. The circus wagon on Ærø has been completely renovated into a simple and stylish residence, with everything you need. It stands completely undisturbed, in the beautiful nature of Ærø, right where the forest turns into a field and where the view unfolds before your eyes.

The carriage is both externally and internally decorated by visual artist Jonas Pihl, who creates inspiring surroundings with his colorful universe. The circus wagon is located on a large natural plot on the outskirts of Marstal, which is Ærø's largest town, with approximately 3,000 inhabitants.

In the city there are good shopping opportunities, restaurants, cafes, a large and beautiful harbor and a fantastic beach.

The breakfast is in the fridge/freezer on arrival, just ready to prepare.

There are 4 pcs. core and wheat buns from Leanders Bakery in Svendborg, baked to a simple but essential recipe: local and organic flour, water, salt, sourdough, good time and love for the craft.

A package from Marstang Food & Wine with 4 packages of organic butter from Naturmælk, 1 glass of home-made local jam, 1 piece of Gammel Knas cheese from Arla Unika and 4 slices of ham from Funen pig.

The espresso machine is filled with beans from the local roastery Dynamo, and in the fridge there is 1 liter of organic milk ready for you to brew the perfect latte.
