Tipi éco glamping au coeur des Pyrénées ariégeoises
Glamping · 6 guests
The teepee tent is located on the grounds of our two mountain barns in the heart of the regional park of the Ariège Pyrenees. You will find the feeling of a real nature bivouac called Triptrappeur: an introduction to life in an autonomous camp (without electricity or city water). By combining comfort and back to basics, we welcome you as a couple, with family or friends for a weekend, a stay, a stopover on the road to mountain hiking trails. The accommodation is located by the river, in a preserved and bucolic place, you will be totally immersed in nature while being close to civilization. Electricity is provided by solar panels which provide lighting and recharge small devices such as telephones (satisfactory 3G signal). A source of water is present on the ground and supplies the place. (our family and friends have been drinking this uncontrolled water for over 16 years without any problems. If you are sensitive plan your drinking water supply.) Hot water is produced by the sun, a wood fire and a small gas water heater. The kitchen: wood fire, gas cooker, bread oven. The Triptrapper bivouac is made up of: - A bell tent in white cotton 5 meters in diameter on its wooden terrace, it is fitted out and furnished like a real bedroom with a 140 bed. Depending on the configurations and the number of people: 2 camp beds with mattresses serving as a seat and bedding and/or additional beds. - As an option (25 euros in addition) for more comfort, the same tent in a smaller size (cotton 3 meters in diameter) can be installed in satellite with 2 beds. Convenient for children or teenagers in rooms apart from the parents but also for older children in groups of 6 people. Common areas: - The toilet block hut with its hand pump for water supply, its shower cabin, its dry toilets, 1 sink area, 1 dishwashing area - The campfire area with its pallet benches and grilling utensils - An outdoor dining area, on a wooden terrace, sheltered from the rain and/or the sun with a large table (12 people), bench and chairs. - The ground floor of our small rustic barn which cooks with its gas stove (4 burners and 1 oven), all the kitchen utensils and crockery, a table (6 people), a large fireplace to warm you up, dry yourself or grilling on bad weather days. - A large bread oven (optional use and on reservation).
